JENNIFER CRONK (New City Kids Director)

She leads & directs New City Kids. In other words, her job is to laugh a lot with our kids, unabashedly celebrate volunteers, and champion parents.
Jennifer believes imagination and wonder are two of the best spiritual gifts kids have at their disposal. She deisres to see the kids of New City increasingly stand in awe of Christ’s beauty and goodness. And because she's convinced that parents are the primary faith-builders in their children’s lives, she wants to equip and encourage the families of New City to tell that old, old Story in new, fun and practical ways.

Frankie graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Child Development and Family Relations in 2017. She was involved in a CCO ministry the entirety of her college career, and is very excited to be coming on staff at Xavier to love and encourage students the way that she was when she was in their shoes. She’s looking forward to seeing what God has in store for the ministry in this coming year.
The CCO Fellow’s program is a year long fellowship designed to give recent college graduates experiences with campus ministry in partnership with the local church, and help discern whether God might be calling them into ministry to college students as a vocation. Frankie joins Pastor Mike in CCO's work @ Xavier University and New City.

Daniel grew up among the hills in the great state of West Virginia but moved to Cincinnati after graduating from Marshall University to pursue marrying his beautiful bride, Gabby in 2011. He and Gabby started attending New City later that year and quickly found a thriving community of people like them, struggling to make sense of their faith in a world that seems to want nothing to do with it. In 2014, Daniel became a licensed Realtor and joined Cheryl Ferry and Jenni Holthus at Keller Williams. While at New City, Daniel has been an active member of the worship band and serves as a community group leader, among other roles. The Kerseys currently live in Norwood and absolutely love it.
Mark lives in Walnut Hills with his wife Lily and their son Arthur (Ari for short). He is a Cincinnati native, living here for the past 20 years. He currently works for METRO at the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (which he had previously for 3 years planning and scheduling bus routes for our region). Mark and Lily have a heart for the city and for the people that live in the city, particularly the economically depressed and marginalized. They like the closer proximity to your neighbor that city life brings because it pushes you to love your neighbors more, or at least have to acknowledge that they’re there. They are also involved in a housing/re-entry ministry in their neighborhood where they house some ex-felons and economically disadvantaged people and invite them into their community. That basically means they sometimes eat together, get into the Word, and just try to be good, loving neighbors. Lily and Mark have been coming to New City since they got married in October of 2012 and have enjoyed worshiping, leading a community group, and serving in New City kids over the past 4 years. They love the hospitable community of New City, the city positive message, and the preaching of Jesus every week among many other things.
